We all have a purpose in life. Richard's was to bring people together. He did that in his life and will keep doing it in his untimely death. Richard was one of the nicest people I have ever met. A true searcher in this life, he shared his friendship with all; never judging, always generous. Richard was a big-hearted, open and much loved man who bore his suffering heroically. I never, ever heard him complain except when his beloved Chelsea lost! For me, Richard was one of life's true heroes and will always remain so. A fantastic sportsman, dancer and cook, I'm so proud to have known you, Richard. You were such a good friend. I'm certain you've found what you've been searching for all these years. God bless. Ian
